Carvable Epoxy

WRA Carvable Epoxy system 340 is a highly innovative product. It is a two part system which has a putty like texture. Once thoroughly mixed, the sample can be moulded into any shape. It will then harden over 24 hours to a complete cure after which it can be worked (just like any hard wood). It combines all of the advantages of wood, clay and stone without any of the disadvantages; it is easily mouldable (before cure), it has a low density ie. is very light, it is tough, it is not brittle, it is not adversely affected by water, it does not warp in high humidity/low humidity, it is not affected by acid rain (as some stone is) and it does not require expensive kilns to cure it!

Applications include:

Artistic/model mould production (although testing will need to be completed to ensure that the material being "cast" does not bond or react).

Sculpture/model work.

Woodwork repair (eg. window frames, doors, tables, chairs etc.) where parts can be moulded to fit.

General household repairs (eg to brickwork etc).
